We understand every now and then things don’t work out as planned. However, we are a small business that rely on having our clients turn up to their booked appointment, not only so that we can pay our stylists, but so we can also keep the doors of the business open. 
When you don’t provide us with 48 hours’ notice or you don’t attend your appointment at all (we call it a no-show), that means we have turned away other guests because that time was allocated to you specifically for that service, which in turn is not fair on us or the other guests. 


We have a booking / cancellation policy for three reasons: 

  1. to protect all of our loyal guests and their appointments; 

  1. to protect our business from loss of trading; and 

  1. to ensure your experience is relaxing and enjoyable.  


We greatly appreciate your support of our business and we will endeavour to provide the utmost professional service to you at every appointment.

As of the 1 July 2018 the following booking / cancellation policy will apply: 



First Appointment 

A booking fee totalling 50% of your appointment value is required at the time of booking. 

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice (in normal business hours) a $50 late notice fee will be deducted from your booking fee and the remainder of your booking fee will be rolled over towards your next appointment. 

If you arrive later than 15-20 minutes after your scheduled booking, your service may be altered or shortened as a result, however, full payment of your originally booked services will be required.  If you arrive later than 20 minutes after your scheduled booking, this will be classified as a no show.  

If you do not turn up to your appointment at all (no show) you will forfeit your entire booking fee.  If a further booking is made, another 50% booking fee will be required. 



As Saturdays are our most popular day and are often booked out weeks in advance, we require 72 hours (3 days’ notice for rescheduling or cancellations).  

(Have attended the salon at least twice in the last 6 months without any no shows/ unreasonable lateness) 

We do not request booking fees from our existing guests, however, if you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment or if you fail to attend your appointment in reasonable time or do not show at all, you will revert to ‘New Guest’ status (see above). 


The team at Hair Avenue pride themselves on providing you with exceptional service and quality customer care.  All of our stylists are professional, educated and experienced and will provide you with the best hair care service possible. 

We do not issue refunds on our services. However, should you have any questions or concerns about the service you have received, please notify the salon within three days of your service. If you are not satisfied with the work performed, we ask that you contact us so that your hair can be visually inspected. We will make every effort to correct any problems to your satisfaction by rescheduling you with the stylist who performed the initial service at no additional charge to you. 


All advertised prices are in Australian Currency (AUD) and are subject to Goods and Service tax (GST). GST is inclusive of the advertised prices.  The Price List is subject to change at any given time without notice.
